Privacy Policy

Effective April 27, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Ashe Labs (“Warning Track,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Warning Track service at warningtrack.app (the “Service”). Ashe Labs is operated as a sole proprietorship based in Illinois.

By using the Service you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Account details: email address, display name, password (stored only as a salted hash), and optional avatar URL and preferred playing position.
  • Single sign-on data: if you sign in with Google or Facebook, we receive your email address and name from that provider.
  • App content: team memberships, captain or player roles, the games you record, player statistics (at-bats, hits, runs, innings, and similar fields), and the text of any problem reports you submit.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage and device data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, pages visited, and events (such as sign-in attempts and dashboard views) collected through our analytics provider, PostHog.
  • Error and performance data: crash reports, stack traces, and a low-rate sample of session replays, collected through PostHog. We attach your user identifier to errors so we can investigate issues affecting your account.
  • Cookies: we use a session cookie from Supabase to keep you signed in (this is essential for the Service to function), and analytics cookies set by PostHog.

2. How we use information

  • To create and authenticate your account.
  • To deliver core features: claiming teams, managing rosters, syncing schedules from external feeds (TeamSideline, QuickScores), recording and displaying statistics.
  • To respond to problem reports and support requests.
  • To monitor for errors, debug issues, and improve the Service.
  • To send transactional email related to your account (for example, email confirmation and password reset).
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

The legal basis for processing this data is the performance of our agreement with you (the Terms of Service) and our legitimate interest in operating, securing, and improving the Service.

3. How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share data only with the third-party service providers listed below, each of whom processes data on our behalf under their own privacy and security commitments:

  • Supabase(United States) — database hosting and authentication.
  • Vercel(United States) — application hosting.
  • PostHog(United States) — product analytics, error monitoring, and session replay.
  • Google and Facebook— only when you choose to sign in with those providers, in which case we exchange limited identity information with them to authenticate you.
  • Resend(planned) — for sending transactional email related to your account.

We may also disclose information when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to comply with law, protect our rights, or protect the safety of our users or the public. If Ashe Labs is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction; we will notify you in advance of any change of ownership of your data.

4. Information visible to other users

Your display name, role on a team (player or captain), and the statistics recorded against your account are visible to other members of teams you join. Captains can see the full roster and statistics for their team. Administrators of Warning Track can view all user records as necessary to operate the Service.

5. Data retention

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. Game schedules, results, and statistics tied to a team are retained as part of that team’s record even after individual members leave. Problem reports are retained after resolution for support and quality purposes. If you ask us to delete your account, we will delete or anonymize personal information associated with you within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, accounting, or security reasons.

6. Security

We use Supabase row-level security to limit data access at the database layer, store passwords only as salted hashes, encrypt data in transit with HTTPS, and rely on Supabase to handle OAuth flows. No service is perfectly secure; if we become aware of a breach affecting your data, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

7. Your privacy rights

You can ask us to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing legal@ashe-labs.com. We will respond within the timelines required by applicable law.

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act) gives you the following rights:

  • The right to know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and the categories of sources and recipients.
  • The right to delete personal information we have collected from you.
  • The right to correct inaccurate personal information.
  • The right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
  • The right to limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not use sensitive personal information for purposes that would require this option.
  • The right to non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights.

You may submit a request through an authorized agent; we may verify both your identity and the agent’s authority before fulfilling the request.

If you are a resident of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, or another US state with a comparable consumer privacy law, you may have similar rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, for material changes, send notice to the email associated with your account. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the updated Policy.
